He Knew He Wanted to Pursue Musical Theater at a Young Age

Jordan Fisher was born on April 24, 1994, in Birmingham, Alabama

He was born to a teenage mother of 16 years

He started gymnastics training at the age of two and began training as an actor, dancer and singer when he was 10

he left the opportunity to move to Texas to train for the Beijing Olympics and instead focused on musical theatre.

Fisher, who was homeschooled, earned his high-school degree from Harvest Christian Academy

He got his college education from Jacksonville State University via computer classes

He has Nigerian, Cambodian, English, Polynesian (Tahitian), Italian, Greek, and Scandinavian roots.

When Jordan was born, his biological mother was just 16 years old. Plus, she also struggled with drug abuse.

Jordan got in a drama class in 5th grade as he wanted to hang out with his crush more. Slowly he fell in love with acting and other artistic disciplines.

He was diagnosed with an eating disorder in 2022
