Kevin Olusola started learning the piano at the age of four, cello at the age of six and alto saxophone at the age of ten

He was involved in music programs in his grade school and participated in jazz band, concert band, marching band and community youth orchestra

At age 12, Kevin Olusola was selected as the chief saxophonist of the United States Collegiate Wind Band and the principal cellist of Kentucky State Youth Orchestra

Kevin Olusola then moved to Beijing and continued to hone his celloboxing skills

Kevin Olusola was born Kevin Oluwole Olusola on October 5, 1988, in Owensboro, Kentucky, USA, to Curline Paul and Oluwole Olusola

Olusola began his education at the Greater Philadelphia Junior Academy.

He later moved to Owensboro where he attended the Triplett School for a short time

He then transferred him to Owensboro Public School

After this, Kevin Olusola enrolled at the Phillips Academy Andover. After graduating from Andover, he chose to attend Yale University.
